Fun Day 2012
The NMWA Fun Days are days when the NMWA is open to visitors free-of-charge. We have prepared great programs for this year's Fun Days - we hope you can join us for the fun!

[Gallery Talk – One Work from the Collection]
A single work is chosen from the Permanent Collection Galleries, and one from the Traces of Hands exhibition, with volunteers presenting a 10-minute talk in front of each work. Held 7 times each day.

[Let's make an original NMWA Collection badge!]
The entrance ticket uses a motif from a work in the NMWA collection. Why don't you try to figure out which part of which work is shown. If you find it, you can have your ticket made into your very own badge. A transformed entrance ticket, now a badge!

[BijuTool]
You can borrow the BijuTool kit and find new ways to look at art works. These kits are suitable for all visitors. The Fun Day BijuTool kit features Monet and Rodin. From kids to adults, have fun!

[Architectural Tour of the Main Building]
A volunteer guide will lead a tour of the Main Building designed by the French architect Le Corbusier. Each tour will last approximately 50 minutes
How to participate: Please pick up a reservation ticket. Tickets will be handed out 30 minutes before each talk. There is a limit of 15 visitors per talk.

"Traces of Hands: Sculpture and Drawings by Rodin and Bourdelle, Primarily from the NMWA Collection"
[Let's Explore Sculpture Methods]
Sculpture is made in several different materials, including marble, bronze and plaster. How is each material worked? This demonstration program will show the different methods used with each material. Each program will last approximately 50 minutes.

[Self-Guided Tour of the Sculpture Exhibition]
The Junior Passport is an explanatory guide to the exhibitions that is normally distributed to Elementary and Middle School students. On Fun Day anyone can request a Junior Passport. Have fun looking at sculpture with your Junior Passport as guide.
[Concert in the Forecourt]
Brass band concerts will be held in front of The Gates of Hell sculpture in the NMWA Forecourt. A great variety of fun music will be performed!
