Family Programs

Two programs for children aged 6 to 10 and accompanying adults are offered on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month when admission to the museum's collection exhibition is free. The two are: a service that rents art appreciation tools (instruments), named Bijutool (from the words "bijutsu" [art] and tool); the other is a creative experiential program called Doyo Bijutsu, or "Saturday Arts."

Past Programs

Bijutool (Art Enjoyment Activity Tool)

Bijutool is a portable kit to enjoy paintings and sculptures at the museum. Each Bijutool contains different tools, games, and activities for different artworks. It encourages children (ages 6-10) and adults to enjoy art works together in galleries. Families as fist-time visitors or unfamiliar with art are all welcome!
