Free Admission for permanent collection
As a general rule, the 2nd Sunday of every month will be Kawasaki Free Sunday. Admission to the Permanent Collection Galleries is free to all visitors on those days.
In addition to Kawasaki Free Sunday (2nd Sunday of each month), Permanent Collection Galleries are also open free-of-charge on International Museum Day (May 18) and on Culture Day (November 3).
* Paid tickets are required for other areas of the museum on those days.

High school students or younger.
Those over the age of 65.
Those under the age of 18.
Those with physical or mental disabilities, and one accompanying person per disabled visitor.

NMWA Permanent Collection Galleries Passport Tickets

This extremely useful ticket allows holders unlimited entry to the Permanent Collection Galleries during the ticket's validity period, as well as providing discounts at Café Suiren and the NMWA Museum Shop (except Special Exhibition Shops).
