Volunteer

Approximately 50 volunteer staff work at the National Museum of Western Art, divided into the following three groups based on their various interests. They all work to support visitor engagement with artworks and the museum as a whole. They all participate in training sessions, follow-up study and training, along with skill development sessions.

In addition to their group’s focus, individual volunteers are also free to participate in the NMWA Friday Night Talks and Volunteer Art programs.
