オンライン講演会「フルーニング美術館・国立西洋美術館所蔵 フランドル聖人伝板絵―100年越しの“再会”」

国立西洋美術館所蔵の16世紀初頭フランドルで制作された板絵《聖ヤコブ伝》は、ベルギー、ブリュージュのフルーニング美術館所蔵の《聖ヤコブおよび聖ヨハネ伝の諸場面》と、かつて同じ祭壇装飾等の一部をなしていたと考えられます。フルーニング美術館と国立西洋美術館では、館外の研究者からも協力を得つつ、上記二作品について美術史・自然科学の両側面から調査を進めてきました。本講演会では、その成果を4つのトピックスからご紹介します。

Online Lectures in Conjunction with "Two Flemish Paintings from Tokyo and Bruges Reunited”
English-Japanese simultaneous interpretation available.
"Scenes from the Life of St. James the Great", the panel painting in our collection produced in the southern Low Countires at the beginning of the sixteenth century, and "Scenes from the Life of Saint James and Saint John" in the collection of the Groeningemuseum in Bruges, Belgium are considered to have once been part of a larger ensemble such as an altarpiece. The Groeningemuseum and the National Museum of Western Art, with additional cooperation from outside researchers, have conducted surveys from both art historical and natural scientific aspects. In these lectures, the outcome will be introduced under four topics.
